Bothie Shelter

Full working-drawing set · contour terrain model · digital renders

A self-contained shelter resolved through a complete technical drawing set — plans, sections, elevations, structural, lighting and detail drawings — complemented by a hand-built contour terrain model and digital visualisations. The project tests how an architectural idea is translated into buildable, measurable detail.

‘Wow’ Alternative Furniture — Swivel Chair

Communication as form — hand-woven rattan seat on a steel frame

A swivel chair designed for environmental design students. With “communication” as the theme, the piece folds ergonomics, weaving craft and material testing into one: a seat woven from longitude–latitude rattan strands, a welded square-tube steel frame for stability, and a two-face resting form refined through 1:5 and 1:1 prototyping. Keywords — Chroma, Steady, Multifunction, Create.

Subliminal Retail Installation — Luckin Coffee

Flash-store design · brand research · sub-brand · pavilion concept

A small-scale retail-installation project exploring the creative potential of a Luckin Coffee flash store. It moves from brand research (colour, concept, audience) and a HAND LUCKY hand-made sub-brand, through packaging and craft upgrades, to a spatial concept of three semicircles — one main sales pavilion and two decorative volumes — echoing the asymmetric layering of the Guangzhou Grand Theatre, with integrated light strips building atmosphere.

The Installation Journey

Communication, social distance and symbiosis — four experiential spaces

A site-specific installation for the central atrium of the C5 building (HBU × UCLan College of Media and Creativity). Rooted in the theme of communication and the post-pandemic experience of distance, the work translates “distance” into four sequential spaces — from the enclosed self (Space One), to moving into the group (Space Two), confronting objective constraints (Space Three), and reaching symbiosis (Space Four) — using reflective film, LED and deformable forms to evoke isolation, unease and, finally, connection.

Old Building Reuse — Hollow Village

Lingshan Village · Huizhou, Huangshan · reconstruction of old houses

An adaptive-reuse study of Lingshan Ancient Village (Chengkan Town, Huizhou District, Huangshan) — a small mountain village of Hui-style architecture with pink walls, black tiles and arched eaves. The project analyses the site across six zones (A–F) and proposes the reconstruction and reuse of old houses to revive the hollow village, divert special industries and drive community regeneration through environmental design.

About Me

I am an interior and environmental design student at Hebei University Central Lancashire College of Media and Creativity (BA Hons, Environmental Design, Class of 2027), working across furniture, retail & installation, spatial design and adaptive reuse.

My work is grounded in a simple belief — design comes from life. Whether a hand-woven chair for a study room, a Luckin flash-store pavilion, or the renewal of a hollow mountain village, I start from real needs and let the project’s own logic shape the form.

“Each student is like an independent piece of paper — together they form a more exquisite style.”

I enjoy the full journey from concept and sketch, through model-making and technical drawing, to fabrication and material testing — and increasingly use AI generation as a tool for rapid spatial ideation.
